Alpacas produce the strongest fiber in the world and is known to be warmer than wool. They do not have lanolin or oils that can be harmful for those that have allergies. The cashmere-like feel allows those with the most sensitive skin to wear alpaca next to the skin. Alpaca fiber is highly sought after in high end fashion and now most yarns are available in your back yard. The prime fleece is virtually free of guard hair that causes the itchy factor.

There will be approximately 600 hundred alpacas of 22 colors and variations joining in a healthy competition of the Best alpacas in the region. Their owners will be available to help with any questions you may have.

Not sure how they are judged? Come see the explanations of what international senior judges say of what to expect from the fleece and conformation of Suri Alpacas and Huacaya Alpacas. Take a day to see how many alpacas you can get your hands on!
